Understanding our refund and cancellation policies

1. Overview

At ChatLuxe, we strive to provide the best possible experience for our users. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted for token purchases and VIP subscriptions.

2. Token Purchases

2.1 Eligible for Refund

  • Technical errors that prevented token delivery
  • Duplicate charges due to system errors
  • Fraudulent transactions (with proper documentation)

2.2 Not Eligible for Refund

  • Tokens that have been used for messaging
  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Account termination due to Terms of Service violations

Important: Tokens are non-transferable and have no cash value outside of the ChatLuxe platform.

3. VIP Subscriptions

3.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your VIP subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

3.2 Refund Eligibility

  • Full refund within 24 hours of purchase if no VIP features have been used
  • Prorated refund if technical issues prevented access to VIP features
  • No refund for partial months after the 24-hour window

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at support@chatluxe.com
  2. Include your transaction reference number
  3. Explain the reason for your refund request
  4. Provide any relevant documentation or screenshots

5. Refund Processing

  • Refund requests are typically processed within 5-7 business days
  • Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method
  • You will receive an email confirmation once your refund is processed

6. Disputed Charges

If you dispute a charge with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to:

  • Suspend your account pending investigation
  • Require additional verification before restoring access
  • Charge a dispute processing fee if the dispute is found to be invalid

7. Special Circumstances

In exceptional circumstances, we may grant refunds outside of this policy at our sole discretion. Each case will be evaluated individually.
